ABOUT: History
The MPC was formed in 2005 to bring clarity, focus and a unified voice to the film, television and new media production community in Massachusetts. From its inception, the MPC has had the firm goal of increasing film, television and new media production in the state by championing tax incentives and strengthening relationships with Hollywood and National and International production entities.
The MPC represents and supports all aspects of the media and entertainment industry operating in Massachusetts, from production and post-production companies to equipment and technical support services, crew and independent filmmakers.
The MPC is committed to ensuring that the business climate for the film, television, video and new media industries fosters continued growth and helps to develop the future workers and innovators who will carry the Massachusetts production industry into the future.
